Greetings from the frozen tundra,

I returned to Wisconsin on Saturday night after a long day of delay-filled travels.  Thanks to God though, as my journey could have been much worse, as many flights were cancelled on Sunday.  It has been good to see my parents and today I was able to visit with my sister Tanya and her family in Fort Atkinson.  My cat, Obi, has fattened considerably during my absence, in part due to his now thicker winter coat.  He really is a fat cat as compared to the mauger (skinny) cats of Helene.

Sunday night snowfalls necessitated Monday morning snow blowing... and my hands are still in the shape of the snow-mowers handlebars.  My daily entertainment now includes watching my cat wrastle with my parents' dog, Barney, and grumbling about the inadequacies of the Green Bay Packers.  A cold glass of real milk has tasted good, as well as two flavors of Ben and Jerry’s.  A hot shower, which had eluded me for two months, was also a blessing to me and those in my company (sniff...sniff).

I'm now in the process of trying to find a new church and a job, at least until if and when I return to Helene.  I ask for your prayers that God reveal His plan for me and my immediate future, and that He provide me with the wisdom and discernment to recognize His calling.
